Bill Maher presents "Religulous"

Maaaaaan....If you have not checked out Bill Maher's "Religulous" yet, you are bugging! The 2008 documentary fearlessly approaches and critiques one of the largest and strongest institution known to man, religion. Comedian Bill Maher (who is actually 50% jewish and the other catholic) travels the globe to seek different perspectives of the world through different religions, and exposes the many contradictions, flaws and shortcomings, and deadly actions that have resulted from religion based conflicts from the past to the present day. Now me personally, I would not consider myself religious. I was raised baptist, but I always felt that it was all one big show, until I was old enough to see pass the smoke and mirrors. I do believe in the Creator, but I feel that we are all God's children, no matter what your religion. But until we realize that and stop the lying and the bloodshed, you just have to hope for the best and plan for the worst. Check the flick out for yourselves and pass your own judgment. Peace dookies.

Alicia KeysAlbum Review

How does one clean their soul from a recent heartbreak? Some people crack under pressure...and others make albums. With Alicia's fourth studio album, she opens and places her heart on exhibit, which in my eyes, show a great deal of humility, through all of the fame and success to remind us that the people we glorify as 'celebrities' are still human, just like us at the end of the day. With this album, you see the more vulnerable side of Alicia, as this album is deeply emotional, and this girl poured her soul and stuck her foot in this one! As you can see, I've worded it so that I try not to give away too much about the album...so why don't you just take a listen for yourself? Be sure to let me know what you think!

Double Standards.

I wrote this poem earlier today as a testament to the daily bullshit that most of us experience when presented with double standards. So, I'm in Italian Lab today, and the class starts promptly at 5:30PM and it ends at 6:30PM. There have been instances where I have shown up 15-20 minutes late, and have been denied access to the class. But today, there was this woman who strolled in minutes after 6PM, and she was GRANTED ACCESS TO THE CLASS, SHE WAS NOT EVEN MARKED LATE. So, me being the person I am, I checked the professor on his BS, stating that by him allowing her to stay in the class, while myself and other students have been turned away from the class in the past is exhibiting a double standard. Now, I am not one to ruffle feathers, but I feel that one or two people should have exclusive rights over anyone else, especially in the classroom, and when your wrong...your WRONG...whether you are a student, professor, mayor or the pope. Hopefully my words reached the ears of the professor, through the pride and arrogance, but if it didn't...here is the rest of my two cents.

DOUBLE STANDARDS

It is about time that we demand that
We do away with society's double standards
That tells me what I can and can NOT do
As you continue to turn your head while the next man does what he wants and wishes to
Now, don't get me misunderstood, but if you stand us side by side, would there be any difference between us two?
Now, I'm quite sure that the answer would be no
But yet you STILL let me know what I can and can not do.

But check this, how would you feel if I was the one who set the double standards for you?
Oooooooh boy, the things that I would demand if I have the power to plan and distort your life
I would have you eating out of the palm of my hand with your head under the knife
Because then I'd be the MAN, that DUDE,
That NIGGA
Till you figure out that in your world of double standards, you can NEVER be the HNIC, because in YOUR world of double standards
You always end up playing yourself by exposing your arrogance as your weakness for the whole world to see.

Words of Wisdom from J. Ivy

Most of you may remember this from the track "Never Let You Down" off of Kanye's first album "The College Dropout." These words here help get me through those days where I find myself asking: 'Why am I here?,' only to find inspiration from the words of others to remind me that I am not in this alone. I hope that you can find the same inspiration that I found from this if not, greater. Listen to the man speak.

"Never Let Me Down" by J. Ivy

We are all here for a reason on a particular path
You don't need a curriculum to know that you are part of the math
Cats think I'm delirious, but I'm so damn serious
That's why I expose my soul to the globe, the world
I'm trying to make it better for these little boys and girls
I'm not just another individual, my spirit is a part of this
That's why I get spiritual, but I get my hymns from Him
So it's not me, it's He that's lyrical
I'm not a miracle, I'm a heaven-sent instrument
My rhythmatic regimen navigates melodic notes for your soul and your mental
That's why I'm instrumental
Vibrations is what I'm into
Yeah, I need my loot by rent day
But that is not what gives me the heart of Kunte Kinte
I'm tryina give us "us free" like Cinque
I can't stop, that's why I'm hot
Determination, dedication, motivation
I'm talking to you, my many inspirations
When I say I can't, let you or self down
If I were of the highest cliff, on the highest riff
And you slipped off the side and clinched on to your life in my grip
I would never, ever let you down
And when these words are found
Let it been known that God's penmanship has been signed with a language called love
That's why my breath is felt by the deaf
And why my words are heard and confined to the ears of the blind
I, too, dream in color and in rhyme
So I guess I'm one of a kind in a full house
Cuz whenever I open my heart, my soul, or my mouth
A touch of God reigns out

NEVER FORGET THAT THE KIDS ARE THE FUTURE! SO LET'S MAKE SURE THAT WE LAY DOWN THE GROUNDWORK FOR A BETTER AND BRIGHTER TOMORROW FOR THEM.

PEACE.

To Whom It May Concern.

To whom it may concern:

My name is Mmadu, but soon you'll learn. I come from a place where dreams and souls burn, where there is nothing but darkness and nowhere left to turn. Where the harshness of the cold world sinks and seed deep in your bones. But to me, this is what I call home, the land where the lost people roam with no place to go. Just caught up in the motions with no sign of hope, as if everyone is high off of some spiritual dope. At this pace, I might as well give them the rope, so that they can just go and perform their own spiritual lynchings.

Excuse me if I come off as a vernacular henchmen, but this is my first hand account of my physical setting. This is not fabricated nor dramatized, this is just the story of a young'n who's on the rise whose coming from nothing, but I'm aiming for the skies. But before I ascend as this cold world turns, just know that I voiced my opinion to whom it may concern.

Cordially,
Mmadu Ulasi

Sweet Ting.

Gyal, you are sweeter than june plum
Which probably explains this offset diabetes that I acquired
From having you coursing through my veins
The memories that I have of us alone still drives this man insane
As my days are now mundane because I now seek to obtain what we once had
Not fully heeding to my motto of 'leaving the past in the past'
Ohhhh....If I can just get one more night, it would be a blast
The way I would wax and tax that ass
I would stay on you like cops on blacks when it's time to harass
And my name isn't Keith Sweat, but I put money on it that I can make it last
As I take grip of them hips that resemble an hourglass
The sight of you looking back at me biting your lip causes me to tremble in ecstasy
And once again I wake up in a cold sweat with no one next to me
So I guess the only thing to do is to go up the block to get me a patty and sorrel drink
And look forward to the next time I dream about my Sweet Ting.

WRBG Radio V. 11 (All You See Is Crime In The City)

What's good family? Silent Intelligent here to drop off another goodie for you! This issue of WRBG Radio is back from July, and it is titled: "All You See Is Crime In The City." I titled it this to pay homage to my childhood days, as weird as that may sound. Born in '88, I grew up in the "live '90s" where any and everything went down. I can recall those long East New York summer nights breaking day with gangsters, hustlers and killers (Of course, without me knowing since I was so young.) taking the knowledge and wisdom that would help me progress and shape me into the young man that you see today. Now don't get me wrong, I am not a hustler, gangster or killer...but I am also no pushover. I also remember walking over syringes nearly every morning on my way to my school, P.S./I.S. 41 in Brownsville, seeing people nodding out and all that other good stuff. That is just a drop in the bucket, but I basically compiled some of the best tracks to take you on a tour through my world. So, try my ears on for size and enjoy the show.

Here is the original posting from when I had it on facebook.

What's good people, Silent Intelligent here. And as promised, you are going to get the latest issue and the Crooklyn Dodgers concert from Prospect in '08. That was one of my first hip-hop concerts that I went to, and my jaw was on the floor for about three weeks after show. You can tell that I was a newbie back then, you'll hear it for yourself. But in this edition of WRBG Radio, I decided to take a different approach. I decided to take you on a tour of the city after dark, when all the goons, and ghouls of the night come out and where it's not safe to walk the streets at night. So please, put away all jewelry, strap up ur laces, keep your eyes open, and try not to get your wig split.

This is WRBG Radio V. 11 (All You See Is Crime In The City.)

Act I: All You See Is Crime In The City.

Act II: Intermission (Let's Organize!)

Act III: I don't have change for a $10, the only thing that I have to give is my Two Cents.

Damn, this city is crazy, but you gotta love it.

Stay up & stay cool. Peace.

Out of my element.

It seems like just yesterday, I remembered how my eyes would wander
Up & down those thighs as my mind would ponder
About the earthly mysteries that lay deep inside of your flesh
The way that your sweet musk would seep out of every pore
As I rest my hand upon your breast, and place my sweet lips on the nape of your neck
You see Queen, in my eyes, you are as good as it gets
With your brown sugar skin that's so sweet to the taste
And those butter soft rose pink lips
That is more hypnotizing than the curve of your hips.

But now...

It was all but a dream it seems, as I wake up to face reality in search of my Queen
It can be funny how I sometimes let my dreams and imagination get the best of me
Constantly waking up in a cold sweat, only to find no one next to me
Nothing but an empty space in my bed and within my heart
It's crazy how things can be all good today, and tomorrow they just fall apart to pieces
As I once again rewrite my thesis on this thing called love, I looked to the stars, as they rained down all of the answers from above
But until I decide to take heed and abide by the UNIverse's love judgment
I will continue to be out of my element.
"They say that you never know what you have until it's gone."

THANKS for GIVING us smallpox...The TRUE story behind Thanksgiving.

SHIRT BY MENTAL SUN FOR ART OF FACTS CLOTHING

What's good folks, here to drop some knowledge on y'all! I know that Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and it is a time that we cherish because we spend it with family and all that other good stuff...But what are we celebrating exactly? Check out these articles I found on the origins of Thanksgiving and our "heroic founding fathers." Pass the measles please!

The O.G.'S of Homeland Security

No Thanks to Thanksgiving

By Robert Jensen

Instead, we should atone for the genocide that was incited -- and condoned -- by the very men we idolize as our 'heroic' founding fathers.

One indication of moral progress in the United States would be the replacement of Thanksgiving Day and its self-indulgent family feasting with a National Day of Atonement accompanied by a self-reflective collective fasting.

In fact, indigenous people have offered such a model; since 1970 they have marked the fourth Thursday of November as a Day of Mourning in a spiritual/political ceremony on Coles Hill overlooking Plymouth Rock, Massachusetts, one of the early sites of the European invasion of the Americas.

Not only is the thought of such a change in this white-supremacist holiday impossible to imagine, but the very mention of the idea sends most Americans into apoplectic fits -- which speaks volumes about our historical hypocrisy and its relation to the contemporary politics of empire in the United States.

That the world's great powers achieved "greatness" through criminal brutality on a grand scale is not news, of course. That those same societies are reluctant to highlight this history of barbarism also is predictable.

But in the United States, this reluctance to acknowledge our original sin -- the genocide of indigenous people -- is of special importance today. It's now routine -- even among conservative commentators -- to describe the United States as an empire, so long as everyone understands we are an inherently benevolent one. Because all our history contradicts that claim, history must be twisted and tortured to serve the purposes of the powerful.

One vehicle for taming history is various patriotic holidays, with Thanksgiving at the heart of U.S. myth-building. From an early age, we Americans hear a story about the hearty Pilgrims, whose search for freedom took them from England to Massachusetts. There, aided by the friendly Wampanoag Indians, they survived in a new and harsh environment, leading to a harvest feast in 1621 following the Pilgrims first winter.

Some aspects of the conventional story are true enough. But it's also true that by 1637 Massachusetts Gov. John Winthrop was proclaiming a thanksgiving for the successful massacre of hundreds of Pequot Indian men, women and children, part of the long and bloody process of opening up additional land to the English invaders. The pattern would repeat itself across the continent until between 95 and 99 percent of American Indians had been exterminated and the rest were left to assimilate into white society or die off on reservations, out of the view of polite society.

Simply put: Thanksgiving is the day when the dominant white culture (and, sadly, most of the rest of the non-white but non-indigenous population) celebrates the beginning of a genocide that was, in fact, blessed by the men we hold up as our heroic founding fathers.

The first president, George Washington, in 1783 said he preferred buying Indians' land rather than driving them off it because that was like driving "wild beasts" from the forest. He compared Indians to wolves, "both being beasts of prey, tho' they differ in shape."

Thomas Jefferson -- president #3 and author of the Declaration of Independence, which refers to Indians as the "merciless Indian Savages" -- was known to romanticize Indians and their culture, but that didn't stop him in 1807 from writing to his secretary of war that in a coming conflict with certain tribes, "[W]e shall destroy all of them."

As the genocide was winding down in the early 20th century, Theodore Roosevelt (president #26) defended the expansion of whites across the continent as an inevitable process "due solely to the power of the mighty civilized races which have not lost the fighting instinct, and which by their expansion are gradually bringing peace into the red wastes where the barbarian peoples of the world hold sway."

Roosevelt also once said, "I don't go so far as to think that the only good Indians are dead Indians, but I believe nine out of ten are, and I shouldn't like to inquire too closely into the case of the tenth."

How does a country deal with the fact that some of its most revered historical figures had certain moral values and political views virtually identical to Nazis? Here's how "respectable" politicians, pundits, and professors play the game: When invoking a grand and glorious aspect of our past, then history is all-important. We are told how crucial it is for people to know history, and there is much hand wringing about the younger generations' lack of knowledge about, and respect for, that history.

In the United States, we hear constantly about the deep wisdom of the founding fathers, the adventurous spirit of the early explorers, the gritty determination of those who "settled" the country -- and about how crucial it is for children to learn these things.

But when one brings into historical discussions any facts and interpretations that contest the celebratory story and make people uncomfortable -- such as the genocide of indigenous people as the foundational act in the creation of the United States -- suddenly the value of history drops precipitously and one is asked, "Why do you insist on dwelling on the past?"

This is the mark of a well-disciplined intellectual class -- one that can extol the importance of knowing history for contemporary citizenship and, at the same time, argue that we shouldn't spend too much time thinking about history.

This off-and-on engagement with history isn't of mere academic interest; as the dominant imperial power of the moment, U.S. elites have a clear stake in the contemporary propaganda value of that history. Obscuring bitter truths about historical crimes helps perpetuate the fantasy of American benevolence, which makes it easier to sell contemporary imperial adventures -- such as the invasion and occupation of Iraq -- as another benevolent action.

Any attempt to complicate this story guarantees hostility from mainstream culture. After raising the barbarism of America's much-revered founding fathers in a lecture, I was once accused of trying to "humble our proud nation" and "undermine young people's faith in our country."

Yes, of course -- that is exactly what I would hope to achieve. We should practice the virtue of humility and avoid the excessive pride that can, when combined with great power, lead to great abuses of power.

History does matter, which is why people in power put so much energy into controlling it. The United States is hardly the only society that has created such mythology. While some historians in Great Britain continue to talk about the benefits that the empire brought to India, political movements in India want to make the mythology of Hindutva into historical fact.

Abuses of history go on in the former empire and the former colony. History can be one of the many ways we create and impose hierarchy, or it can be part of a process of liberation. The truth won't set us free, but the telling of truth at least opens the possibility of freedom.

As Americans sit down on Thanksgiving Day to gorge themselves on the bounty of empire, many will worry about the expansive effects of overeating on their waistlines. We would be better to think about the constricting effects of the day's mythology on our minds.

HERE'S ANOTHER ARTICLE FROM A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE
(REMEMBER, THERE'S ONE UNIVERSAL LAW, BUT TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY!)

Thanksgiving: A Native American View

by Jacqueline Keeler

I celebrate the holiday of Thanksgiving.

This may surprise those people who wonder what Native Americans think of this official U.S. celebration of the survival of early arrivals in a European invasion that culminated in the death of 10 to 30 million native people.

Thanksgiving to me has never been about Pilgrims. When I was six, my mother, a woman of the Dineh nation, told my sister and me not to sing "Land of the Pilgrim's pride" in "America the Beautiful." Our people, she said, had been here much longer and taken much better care of the land. We were to sing "Land of the Indian's pride" instead.

I was proud to sing the new lyrics in school, but I sang softly. It was enough for me to know the difference. At six, I felt I had learned something very important. As a child of a Native American family, you are part of a very select group of survivors, and I learned that my family possessed some "inside" knowledge of what really happened when those poor, tired masses came to our homes.

When the Pilgrims came to Plymouth Rock, they were poor and hungry -- half of them died within a few months from disease and hunger. When Squanto, a Wampanoag man, found them, they were in a pitiful state. He spoke English, having traveled to Europe, and took pity on them. Their English crops had failed. The native people fed them through the winter and taught them how to grow their food.

These were not merely "friendly Indians." They had already experienced European slave traders raiding their villages for a hundred years or so, and they were wary -- but it was their way to give freely to those who had nothing. Among many of our peoples, showing that you can give without holding back is the way to earn respect. Among the Dakota, my father's people, they say, when asked to give, "Are we not Dakota and alive?" It was believed that by giving there would be enough for all -- the exact opposite of the system we live in now, which is based on selling, not giving.

To the Pilgrims, and most English and European peoples, the Wampanoags were heathens, and of the Devil. They saw Squanto not as an equal but as an instrument of their God to help his chosen people, themselves.

Since that initial sharing, Native American food has spread around the world. Nearly 70 percent of all crops grown today were originally cultivated by Native American peoples. I sometimes wonder what they ate in Europe before they met us. Spaghetti without tomatoes? Meat and potatoes without potatoes? And at the "first Thanksgiving" the Wampanoags provided most of the food -- and signed a treaty granting Pilgrims the right to the land at Plymouth, the real reason for the first Thanksgiving.

What did the Europeans give in return? Within 20 years European disease and treachery had decimated the Wampanoags. Most diseases then came from animals that Europeans had domesticated. Cowpox from cows led to smallpox, one of the great killers of our people, spread through gifts of blankets used by infected Europeans. Some estimate that diseases accounted for a death toll reaching 90 percent in some Native American communities. By 1623, Mather the elder, a Pilgrim leader, was giving thanks to his God for destroying the heathen savages to make way "for a better growth," meaning his people.

In stories told by the Dakota people, an evil person always keeps his or her heart in a secret place separate from the body. The hero must find that secret place and destroy the heart in order to stop the evil.

I see, in the "First Thanksgiving" story, a hidden Pilgrim heart. The story of that heart is the real tale than needs to be told. What did it hold? Bigotry, hatred, greed, self-righteousness? We have seen the evil that it caused in the 350 years since. Genocide, environmental devastation, poverty, world wars, racism.

Where is the hero who will destroy that heart of evil? I believe it must be each of us. Indeed, when I give thanks this Thursday and I cook my native food, I will be thinking of this hidden heart and how my ancestors survived the evil it caused.

Because if we can survive, with our ability to share and to give intact, then the evil and the good will that met that Thanksgiving day in the land of the Wampanoag will have come full circle.

And the healing can begin.

"COLUMBUS DISCOVERED: Murder, Rape, Genocide, Grand Theft, Lies, ETC...
One day in front bartolome De Las Casa (a spanish missionary), the spanish dismembered, beheaded, or raped 3000 people. Such inhumanities and barbarisms were commited in my sight, he says,
'As no age can parrallel, the Spanish cut off the legs of children who ran from them. They poured people full of boiling soap. They made bets as to who, with one sweep of the sword, could cut a person in half. They loosed dogs that devoured an Indian like a hog, at first sight, in less than a moment. They used nursing infants for dog food"

SHIRT BY MENTAL SUN FOR ART OF FACTS CLOTHING

SO, WITH THAT BEING SAID, LET US LEARN FROM HISTORY'S ATROCITIES SO THAT WE DO NOT CONTINUE TO REPLICATE THEM, BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY: "THOSE THAT DO NOT LEARN FROM HISTORY ARE BOUND TO REPEAT IT."

Peace y'all.

Nas reaches out to todays "Young Soldiers" in light of death of Chicago Teen.

About two months ago, 16-year old honor student, Derrion Albert was beaten to death by a group of his peers (which boggles my mind the most. What is going on in the youths head nowadays?), raising headlines and eyebrows all over the nation. This comes as a shock to most, but to others, it is an all too common reality. Even Nas has stood on his soapbox to give his two cents and he, like many others think that it is time for the senseless street violence to end. So here is what Nas had to say:

"Dear Young Warriors fighting the wrong wars! Killing each other is definitely played out. Being hurt from the lost of a love one was never cool.
Dear Young Warriors fighting the wrong war! I know that feeling, that frustration with life and needing to take it out on someone, any one. But....
We chose the dumbest things to go the hardest for. I remember seeing deaths over 8 ball jackets, Fila sneakers, and name plate chains. Deaths over 'he say, she say!!!!!' 'I'm from this block or I'm from that block,' or 'my moms n pops is f*cked up now the whole world gotta pay!!!'
I remember feeling like I was the hard
est 'n*gga' breathing. And I couldn't wait to prove it. But let's think. What are we really proving?? And proving what to who?? Everybody knows Chicago breeds the strongest of the strong but I just feel, me, being ya brother from another state feels your pain as if I grew up with you in ya very own household.
You have the ability and mindpower to change they way we are looked at. Look who's watching us young warriors, look who's throwing us in jail constantly, look at the ignora
nce in the world. Look at the racist dogs who love to see us down. Loving to bury us in the ground or in jail where we continue this worthless war on one another.
Young warriors.... We are WASTING more and more time. We gotta get on our jobs and take over the world. Cuz this movie left the theaters years ago, Juice, Menace, Boys n the Hood , Blood n Blood Out, Belly!
When we see each other why do we see hatred? Why were we born in a storm, born soldiers, WARRIORS....and instead of building each other up we are at war with each other
.. May the soul of this young person find peace with the almighty. I'm with you young warriors. You're me and I'm you. But trust me! you are fighting the wrong war.
This sh*t sucks!!"

Before you put that pork on your fork...

"Pork: The OTHER White Meat. Too bad it's horrible for you."

What's good folks? I'm back with some food for thought for you. Lately, I have been taking aim at what we put into our bodies. I am doing this mainly because I am trying to keep off the weight that I've lost since doing my vegetarian thing a year back, and I am just curious as to how the food that we eat affects our bodies. And I must say...I found some pretty interesting information. The following article will upset some pork eaters and turn some stomachs, but I feel that this is something that you should check out. Swine is not divine!

More Natural Cures Revealed
by Kevin Trudeau

(From Freedom Allah's MySpace Blog)

Chapter 11

STAY AWAY FROM
THESE PRODU
CTS

Conventional medicine is a collection of
unproven prescriptions the results of which,
Taken collectively are more fatal than useful to mankind.
-Napoleon Bonaparte

In the book Natural Cures I mention that one of the things you should avoid is pork. People always question me about how important this is. Some of my best friends still, to this day, love their bacon, ham and sausages. I am not judgmental. I sit down and have meals with people and watch them enjoy their double-cut stuffed pork chops. Everyone has to make their own choices based on what they feel is best for them. I certainly encourage everyone to eliminate pork, or at least reduce the amount of pork they are consuming. I believe that by doing so you will be sick less, have more energy, lose weight, feel better, be happier, sleep better, live longer and be much less prone to developing serious degenerative disease. I personally believe pork is one of the major causes of degenerative disease in the body. I am not alone. Dr. Ted Broer is a major advocate in eliminating pork from your diet. Major religions concur. Muslims and Jews, for example, are forbidden to eat pork in any form. Dr. Jeff McCombs, author of the book Lifeforce, also has found that eliminating pork causes a dramatic increase in a person's energy level and health, as well as disease-fighting capabilities.

Here is what Dr. Jeff McCombs has to say about eliminating pork from diet. "People are always asking me about the risks associated with eating pork and pork by-products. There are multiple references all around the world as to the dangers of eating pork. Being in practice for many years I have firsthand experience in what occurs when someone stops eating pork and all pork by-products.

Over the years, with virtual 100 percent certainly, I can tell you that when my patients go off pork they virtually ALWAYS feel much better, have more energy, and their symptoms, whatever they may be, start to disappear as if by magic. Ironically, if they start to eat pork again, their symptoms reappear, their energy level plummets, and the feeling general malaise takes over. One of the greatest risks in eating pork in an unknown one. It is a retrovirus called porcine endogenous. This retrovirus lives in all pork cells. Scientists have no idea how this retrovirus affects humans. What is known is that these viruses survive heating and cooking, even at extremely high temperatures over long periods of time. If you are not familiar with what retroviruses can do, think of AIDS. The symptoms that come from AIDS are associated most often with retroviruses. Retroviruses use the body's own cells to replicate themselves. This means that retroviruses go undetected for many, many years as they spread throughout the body. Brown University reported that retroviruses pose a significant threat to the public. When a person eats pork on a regular basis they're loading their body with these retroviruses. These retroviruses dramatically reduce the body's ability to fight off disease, suppress the person's immune system, and make the consumer of pork more susceptible to disease, as well as creating a general overall malaise.

When a person goes off pork for thirty days they almost always have an increased sense of well-being, a heightened sense of awareness, a high level of consciousness, are much happier, smile more, laugh more, sleep better, and whatever physical symptoms they have, almost always those symptoms diminish or vanish. Eating pork causes many problems, including hormonal imbalances, joint and back pains, inflammation, excessive histamine production, headaches, increased susceptibility to colds and flus, as well as potentially being partially responsible for degenerative disease such as arthritis, heart disease and caner. From what I've personally observed, I believe eating pork is like vaccinating your body 'against health.' Pigs also harbor many other toxins, are latent with diseases, and contain worms. Most flu viruses that we encounter in the United States come from the lungs of pigs that create an incubator for the combination of bird, human, and porcine viruses. The Center for Disease Control has stated that as many as 200 of these combined viruses make their way from Southern China to the United States each year through pigs. Pigs scavenge and eat anything in their path including dead insects, worms, rotting carcasses, rats, their own feces, garbage, and other pugs. Whatever a pig eats turns to meat on its bones within a few hours. Pork is virtually undigested garbage. Pork causes stress in the body, both physically and emotionally, and gives rise to physical poisoning. This is a fact that is well known in the scientific community. It is obvious to everyone that when pork products are not prepared properly sickness can result in their consumption. However, this also applies to all pork products, including cured meats such as ham and bacon, smoked meats, sausages, etc. When someone consumes a freshly killed pork product instant symptoms develop, including acute inflammation of the appendix and gallbladder, colitis, intestinal problems, gastroenteritis, typhoid, eczema, various forms of abscesses, spasm, etc. These symptoms are also observed in people after consuming any pork product, including salami, bacon, sausage, and ham.

As I mentioned, flu viruses in pork live in the lungs. A professor at the London Institute for Virus Research states that flu viruses remained alive and active and were found in sausages, hot dogs, ham, bacon, pork chops- virtually all pork products. This means that the fly viruses and other viruses that live in the lungs on pigs and in the tissues of pigs survive the cooking and preparation process. When you eat any pork product you are eating living, dangerous viruses. Additionally, pork is the primary sources of the taenia solium tapeworm. This type of parasite spreads throughout the body. One in six Americans has triginosis and gets it from eating pork. Like most parasites, these go undetected for years, and years, and years. These parasites steal nutrients from our cells and promote inflammation and degeneration within all tissues. They help create an environment that is conductive for caner, diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, as well as indigestion, gas, bloating, acid reflux, fatigue, and depression. So whether it's the retroviruses, the parasite tapeworms, the flu viruses, the histamine increasing compounds, or any of the other toxins present in pork, you may want to consider why you would ever gamble with your health by eating pork. From Confucius to Moses, to Muhammad, to present day science and research, pork has always been and continues to be a very risky health choice. It may be the 'other white meat,' but it's definitely not the right meat!"

Dr. McCombs makes some excellent points. I would encourage all of you, if you want to do an interest test, to do what I did. I eliminated pork from my diet for thirty full days to see if I noticed any difference. I did, in fact, feel "lighter." I felt more "alive." My breathing was better. I felt generally "healthier," but I wasn't totally convinced. So, I went out and ate my favorite meal of pork loin roast. Within minutes I became violently ill. That was enough for me to know that pork is poison. If you have symptoms of any kind, if you have illness or disease of any kind, if you want to be cured of what is ailing you, you must do the steps in Chapter 6 in the Natural Cures book. One of those important steps is eliminating, or at least dramatically reducing, the amount of pork you consume. I do believe that one you start reducing pork, every time you eat it you will feel horrible that you will see that a total elimination of pork may be the right choice for you. I hope it is because I do know you will see and feel a dramatic difference within the first month.
